Downtime
For anyone who is wondering what has happened to Motorsports Ramblings, I'm afraid that other projects and commitments (this and this (the day job) are between them sucking up all my time right now) mean that I'm starved of time right now.
My weekly ramblings will, however, be returning in December. Thoughts on the season just gone, and winter witterings.

You're doing NaNoWriMo too? Hope you're having more success than me (I haven't broken the 25k mark yet, and there's just over seven days to go...)
Hi Alianora
Up at 40k tonight. Feeling utterly shattered - booked Friday off work to try to get myself over the line.
Got distracted the other night reading my previous efforts. One of the unfinished ones actually strikes me as having some merit and being worthy of a redraft, unlike the mindless drivel I'm writing now.
It's got to the point where I'm refusing to look at total word counts to avoid depressing myself with how many words I'm behind. Can't take Saturday off work, but that's no bad thing because for some reason I write more on the trains and buses...
If you read this today, Patrick, I wish you very good luck in writing the rest of the novel. I'm sure you can do it - thanks to some synchronization, I discovered this morning that my 33k word-count was actually 49.5k, which was soon converted into a 53k win.
Remember you're a fantastic writer and any perceived weakness in what you're writing for NaNoWriMo is purely down to the time limit, and there's plenty of time to edit later.
